Keynote Topics and Media Files

Ellen Zimmerman, Keynote Speaker

Looking for a keynote speaker? Ellen is sure to make it engaging no matter the size of your meeting or event.

Hello! Here is some information about who I am as a keynote presenter.

I rarely step behind a podium when I am speaking. I prefer to walk around in the crowd. This might be based on my days as a high school teacher. Walking around, allowed me to engage with the group and read body language more efficiently. (Over half of our communication is through body language.)

Depending on the amount of time, there will likely be an activity of some sort when I present. It may involve movement, interaction with a neighbor, or it may simply involve reflection by the participant. An engaged audience is the one that will enjoy the event and remember the presentation.

Based on my years of experience working with various organizations in leadership roles, I can present on a wide variety of topics. I prefer to identify keynote topics through conversation with the organizer so we can focus on a topic that's well suited for the audience as well as one that fits with the theme of the event.

Some of the more common topics include:

  • Making Difficult Conversations Less Difficult

  • Coaching Skills for Leaders

  • Respect is All That’s Needed/ CLEAR Communication

  • Presentation Skills and Executive Presence

  • Women in Leadership

  • Change Management = Change Mindset

  • Innovation and Process Improvement

  • Priority Setting for Success

  • Accountability Takes Clarity

  • How Words and Language Change the Message

  • Generational Differences are Actually the Same
